Special Assistant to the Governor

Governor Charlie Crist appointed Ronda Federspiel in January 2007 to serve as his liaison between the Executive Office of the Governor and the Governor's Mansion. Ronda coordinates all activities at the mansion related to the governor's priorities, including all governor-hosted events.

Ronda is from Pinellas County and began working for then-State Senator Charlie Crist in 1992. Her career in government began when Ronda served as an aide to the late State Senator Mary Grizzle.

Ronda credits the governor's commitment to serve as the "people's governor" as her motivation to serve in this role. She states: "It is an honor to have the opportunity to work with him [Governor Crist] to showcase the people's house."
