When may I tour the Governor’s Mansion? Is there a fee?

Public tours of the Florida Governor’s Mansion will be available during the Regular Legislative Session, by appointment only. Tours are free of charge and offered during the work week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 10:00am and 12:00pm, as the schedule permits. (Weekend tours and walking tours are not available.) We ask that all school groups of 10 [or more] make reservations at least one-two weeks in advance.

How long do tours last and what will I see?

During the 30-minute, guided tours, guests visit and learn about the six state rooms of the mansion as well as the outdoor Manatee Courtyard.


May I schedule a wedding reception, party, meeting or other special event at the Governor’s Mansion?

Only official events hosted by the governor, lieutenant governor or spouse of the governor are held at the mansion. The Executive Office of the Governor approves all mansion events. If you wish to inquire further, please contact the governor’s scheduling office at (850) 410-0501.


Is the Governor’s Mansion open for tours on weekends or evenings?

The mansion is not open for tours on the weekends or evenings because it also serves as the private residence for the First Family of Florida.
